Time, The Big Break

I took a break for almost a week now, I went on hiatus and got a little out of shape. No worries, because now I'm back again, focusing on the continuation of my story about the girl. I hope you're still reading.
Tonight soundtrack consist of various songs, but I will dedicate it to Moloko - The Time Is Now, you can watch the clip here. Time is the essence here, and it took some time to get to this moment.

Two Thousand Twelve, May, Thirtieth, early night, Lingkara Gallery PhotoArt.
It's minus two days before A Lomonesia Bali Exhibition in Denpasar. We were setting up photos and installations. I was just helping out, did not have any photos to display at the moment, or is it some other problems. Already I'm implying some matters rising. Back to the preparation, so fifteen Lomographers are exhibiting their work, each with their own concepts and displays. One of them got this concept called "tree of life" CMIIW. She got a fake tree made out of wires, wrap it up with green papers, and hang the photos as the leaves. She got her friend helping her out installing it, whom is the girl I have been meeting randomly for almost 8 months. And we are still meeting randomly, we known each other for that long and I don't even have her number. We just talk about how we're doing and smile to each others. I notice that my heart skip a beat and all I want to do was getting her attention. I did, then we part ways, it was getting late. Everyone is getting ready for the exhibition the day after tomorrow. This is the exhibition video lomonesia bali at lingkara

Two Thousand Twelve, October, Ninth, late night, My place.
Just had a conversation with her, talking about her dog. He got fleas and it's getting worse. I wish I could help, I like dogs, and I like hers. He's a Kintamani Dog with an attitude, and yet somehow we are friendly to each others after a few encounter.

And then we continued talking about my writing, how I don't seem to have focus on stuffs. The things that I write here are simply unorganized, messy, sometimes I write everyday, and then I stopped writing. Sometimes I write about my daily life, and then some random information, pictures, other time it's just some jumbled words. So, I figure it's about time that I make an outline out of it. Focus on things. Keep the readers happy, and keeping myself organized, projecting it to my life, as it is.
By doing so, it will gradually affect myself into a more stable person. Planning things ahead, focus on concepts and structures. And furthermore, getting things done, one at a time, mine and others that I care about.

In conclusion, I got an issue about participating in a group sometimes, and I have a problem on focusing, or even making a move. This will have to change. The time is now...
It will get more interesting from this point forward, I promise.

Daily Log in Bali 08.06.2011

Log Date: 08.06.2011
Today is Saturday; I went to work with my aunt. Do some morning chores at home before, and got somethings to do at work. After that I went out with the driver to do some errand. I went out through the East Nakula Street, head left to Imam Bonjol Street, pass a traffic light, goes left on the next traffic light to Gunung Soputan Street, and then turn Right to Mahendradata Road. Goes straight from there to Buluh Indah Road, after going through a few crossroads (three, I think). Arrived at the meeting point with a Villa owner, got some document, and went back to the office.
At the office, send some emails, reply some other, take some calls, and finished up just before dusk. Now, it’s time for some leisure time. I went out from the office to Oberoi Street (Kayu Aya Street is the real name). from there I went to the Art CafĂ©, there is a photo exhibition by the pinhole camera community (Semut Ireng Photography). The name of the event was Cerita Dengan Kaleng. The photos were made by kids from Guang Village, Gianyar from Yayasan Anak Tangguh. They took it with pinhole cameras made out of cans. The pictures were good, and there are also dance performance by the kids, and music by some local bands.

I met my friend Anggara there, and then meet some more new friends, Bambang, Linda, Dwi, Abel, Isyam, Vivick, Zenith and I also met my Lomonesian friends there. We are planning to go for a photo hunt tomorrow to Negara. It is about 2-3 hour drive. So let’s rest now. I’ll tell all about it tomorrow. Good night.

Come and gather round this Sunday

“Kopi Keliling”, or you may call “Kopling” is a collaborative Art Project put together
by a bunch of artists from Indonesia that took coffee as the theme of the project.

Why coffee?

Coffee has been a part of Indonesian culture for ages. Written records show that the
first coffee to set foot in Indonesia (Batavia) was back in the year 1696 by the Dutch
colonial known as VOC (Vereninging Oogst-Indies Company). You may remember it
from the history lessons. Since then Indonesia has been exporting coffee to many
countries all over the world.

Indonesian eventually took the coffee drinking culture into their daily life. We just love a
cup of coffee while having a conversation with friends. It is one of the great qualities of
this concoction. From conversations we can exchange stories, thoughts, or even dreams.

Kopi Keliling?

We are invited by the artists to listen to their story, to feel their thoughts and see their dreams
through a journey of visuals in 5 different places within 5 months. Where in each different places
we will experience different stories.

As they say: “good things happen over coffee”, come join us, grab a cup of coffee and have a
great conversation. You’d never know, it might lead us to something extraordinary.

Kopi Keliling Project Volume 1

The first of many Kopi Keliling series to come. Featuring 10 talented illustrators fromJakarta.
They will tell their tale about coffee through their latest artwork. Accompanied with lovely tunes
from our local bands, together we will experience a fresh look of art and creativity. A celebration
of our local talent and heritage which is art and coffee.
